Good Washer for the Effort
Unlike most people I find that I like this item a lot. Sure it takes some work (agitating/spin cycle) and a bit larger wouldn't be bad but overall I like to use this product. On a usual wash I can clean up to 10 shirts (weeks worth plus some) and a little less for something like jeans. I know the other reviews say that it is a lot of work but I can't imagine what process you're going through to were you're out of breath using this machine. As for time it takes ~30 mins if you're paranoid but less is fine. It cleans just the same as a regular washer (people have to pre-treat stains for mechanical washers too) and saves on energy, space, money, and helps out the environment. I really don't know why you wouldn't get this to AT LEAST supplement your current washer (I use it for everything).

Too small, doesn't get clothes clean or dry.
This product will only wash a very small amount. If I attempted to wash any of my husband's clothing I could only wash up to 2 shirts at a time. It takes a lot of force to try and do the spinning on this and the clothes don't get clean enough. If you have a stain on something you'll have to wash the item in the sink so you can scrub at the stain as this device will not remove it. I also found that the 'spin' cycle to drain the water took so much effort my arms were dead tired and the clothes were still very wet. I found that just wringing them out by hand worked far better to remove water. The inner basket also tends to slip a bit and scratch up the interior plastic. Overall, it's not worth the cost at all as I found washing clothes by hand in the sink easier and better.

Not worth it
I thought this would be great for the RV, however.....
The concept is wonderful, the drain is slow. You can't spin it enough to be able to line dry in one day. I've tried really agitating it for 30 mins or so, yes it was very tiring and the clothes just didn't get clean.
