GE WB27X10927 Magnetron for Microwave

Did the job
This part was defective in my microwave and I replaced it and it now works fine - heating better than before.

Works like a charm
Faced with the choice of buying a new $300 microwave and then paying another $170 for removal/installation, I decided to take a crack at fixing my failing General Electric microwave oven myself. After searching online for "how to" videos, I found the info I needed. Please note that there are some possible electrical hazards involved in this process, even if the microwave is unplugged (which it must be in order to safely replace the part). PLEASE do your research! Having said that, the actual replacement was easy enough. Lots of screws to remove and then replace...but the replacement Magnetron fit perfect and the Microwave now works perfectly. Also, having done my research, I would suggest that you avoid cheaper 3rd party parts. There are apparently issues with those. Go for the genuine parts even if they cost a few...
