Provides flexibility for placement of de-humidifier
I was skeptical when my husband decided to order this. However, once it was set up properly, it allowed us to easily position our de-humidifier so that it can drain into our basement laundry sink, which is about three feet higher off the ground than where the water otherwise would drain from the de-humidifier. The pump also gives us the flexibility to move the de-humidifier to other locations where we would otherwise need to elevate the de-humidifer to get proper drainage.
